About our pasture chicken: These chickens are Freedom Rangers, a terrific breed that takes longer to raise, but produces moist and flavorful meat! We raise our flocks on unsprayed pasture, feed them non-GMO, corn-free, soy-free feed, and have them processed locally at a USDA-inspected facility. The chicks receive apple cider vinegar and minced garlic in their water to boost their digestive health. Once these chickens were old enough to go out to pasture, they were moved to fresh grass 7 days per week. All of our animals are unvaccinated and raised naturally to avoid needing any medications that would degrade the final product! During processing, they are not placed in a chlorine bath like conventional chicken. Instead, they receive an organic, citrus-based rinse. 
 
Please note: Whole chickens are priced at $7/lb. Bird sizes vary naturally, so each quantity ordered represents a minimum of 4 lb of chicken. Your final order may include a different number of birds than the quantity selected, but the total weight will always meet or exceed the purchased weight. For example, if you purchase a quantity of 10, you will receive at least 40 lb of chicken, but the number of chickens may be less than or greater than 10.
